Die Roten Punkte Die Roten Punkte (the utterly dysfunctional pairing of German siblings Otto and Astrid Rot) became an instant household name in Europe after topping the charts with its 2005 hits 'I’m In A Band' and 'Best Band In The World.' “Inspired, brilliantly executed lunacy…sonic collision between Plastic Bertrand, Kraftwerk and early Ramones.” -The Gazette, Montreal

The Young Ladies of... (Taylor Mac)
In 1968, 2nd Lt. Robert Mac Bowyer (Taylor’s father), while stationed in Vietnam, placed an ad asking “young ladies” to write him.  Thousands replied.  Thirty years after his father's death, Taylor uses the letters and his own text and songs to create a conversation intermingling patriarchy, war, romance, and fatherhood. By juxtaposing his Texan father’s army life in 1960’s Vietnam with his own life as a New York City drag/pastiche artist, the work bridges the gap between masculinity and femininity, fathers and sons, and red and blue states.

The Young Ladies Of was a New York Magazine Critic's Pick and has been nominated for two New York Innovative Theater Awards, Best Solo Performance and Best Performance Art Production, and has toured the US and Sweden.  Upcoming engagements include Queer Up North and the Norwich and Norfolk Festival in the UK.
